 About the
FMA:
Established in 1980, the PSU FMA has been
nationally recognized for its membership, activities, and corporate
sponsorship. In 1989, our FMA Chapter won from among all international
chapters the award for "Outstanding Chapter." In 1991, 1992,
2003, 2004 and 2005, we won the award for "Superior Chapter."
FMA makes finance fun, real, and exciting by linking student members'
technical classroom skills with internships. Through guest speakers'
program, you gain business-world experiences from these experts.
The FMA draws mainly from finance students, but officers and members alike
are also drawn from such diverse backgrounds as accounting, information
systems, economics, management, and marketing. Using both formal and
informal activities furthers the opportunities for members to enhance their
leadership, managerial, interpersonal, and social skills.
